It was great coming in to the labs the last few days to see how far along you’ve come in your final projects!
A reminder for the Pitch teams that your 1-page backgrounder (pdf format) is due via email to Stacy (email@example.com), me (firstname.lastname@example.org) and your lab TA by this Sunday (April 29), 5 p.m.
On Monday, each lab has been assigned a timeslot for the practice pitch, which will take place at our usual lecture venue, Vilas 2195. All members of the lab must attend your lab’s practice pitch. All Pitch teams, on the other hand, are expected to attend the full session from 9-11 a.m. The schedule is as follows:
- 307: 9:00 a.m.
- 308: 9:15 a.m.
- 304: 9:30 a.m.
- 305: 9:45 a.m.
- 301: 10:00 a.m.
- 302: 10:15 a.m.
- 303: 10:30 a.m.
Pitch teams, you should treat the practice pitch sessions as if it is the actual final pitch, with Stacy and the TAs as the angel investors. You will have 7 minutes to present your pitch (no buffer), and we’ll provide you with feedback for the next 7-8 minutes (the next lab can use this feedback time to set up your equipment). The more prepared you are, the more you will gain from this practice session.
All the best, and looking forward to hear your pitches on Monday!
