Grammar and Style Training

WordPress Training

  • Complete WordPress training at LinkedIn Learning
    • Chapters 1-6 will be most valuable immediately but take note of other Chapters for future use
    • You should have free access via your UW NetID (if you have problems, try this help page or contact the DoIT Help Desk)
  • Verify that you completed the WordPress training here.
    • Please know that entering confirmation here without completing the training constitutes academic misconduct and may result in a failing grade in the course. This applies to all verifications this semester.

Adobe Creative Suite

We will be using the following Creative Cloud applications in 202 this semester:

  • Premiere
  • InDesign
  • Audition

You can access these programs for free in the Journalism Reading Room and other campus libraries. If you would like to buy Adobe Creative Cloud for yourself, please do not do this until hearing more from Katy (a change at the university level has increased the price tremendously, and she’s trying to appeal that).

Use the following trainings through LinkedIn Learning to learn the software. You should have free access via your UW NetID (if you have problems, try this help page or contact the DoIT Help Desk)
